A new bipartisan coalition, led by North Carolina and Nebraska’s Attorney Generals calls on the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to take action on the youth vaping epidemic. The proposed action includes prohibiting non-tobacco flavors, limiting nicotine amount, and restricting marketing.
North Carolina Attorney General, Josh Stein, says this as a step toward the right direction, but not all that needs to be done: “…this problem is larger than any one company, and we need the FDA to step up and rein in the practices of the e-cigarette industry that hook our youth.”
